What is Time Shifting?

Time Shifting is where the computer ‘holds’ some of the video in a buffer and then plays it back to you at a later time. For example you could set it to 5 seconds, the subject could do their movement as you watch it in real life then you could look down at the screen and watch it again 5 seconds later.

This is a continual delay so once set you get this delayed feedback without touching anything on the computer.

Note, this does put substantial extra load on the computer.
